Project Description:

Boulder Running Company is a locally owned and operated endurance sports retail store located in the heart of Boulder, Colorado.  Henry Guzman and Lesley Kinder approached Designtech Studio to design and develop websites for their annual races they sponsor and host.  The previously developed race websites were  redesigned each year with new race names and new logos.  Designtech Studio helped to consolidate these race domain names and to create a template based website that can grow over time.  This approach by Designtech Studio allowed Boulder Running Company to focus their efforts towards creating meaningful content and consistent race message for their participants and sponsors.

Home page of the Boulder Running Company's Heart & Sole Half Marathon website. This home page includes the latest information about the race, race count down, sponsors logos, weather widget, slideshow of past race photos, announcements of winners, a way to register for the race, and more.
About the Half Marathon page includes the race count down, randomly picked race photos, and links to other important information about the Heart & Sole Half Marathon race. The colors of the design is selected from the logo design and keeps consistent look and feel throughout the site.
On and off course support page describes the available support for the race.
Training and seminars page shows the sponsor of the event and the key training information.
Father's Day 4K and Kids Run race website was also created at the same time as the Heart & Sole Half Marathon and 10K website. The one Adobe Business Catalyst account was used to host multiple race sites, to keep the hosting cost down and to take advantage of the site wide templates and the features of the BC hosted services.
